Old-fashioned sealing wax

I recently discovered Nostalgic Impressions, an online retailer specializing in old-fashioned writing implements and accessories. I haven’t yet had the opportunity to order anything but plan to do so in the future.

What I am currently most excited about is their traditional handmade sealing wax, which is advertised as being “handproduced … in the same authentic methods of yesteryear” and for which they provide instructions for use. Personally, I don’t think I would have thought of moistening the seal or using the bottom of the wax stick to blend the wax before pressing the seal into it.
